We're looking for a trustworthy, responsible caregiver whose values align with our natural and compassionate approach to childcare. Schedule 9am to 3pm per week Monday to Friday (3 to 5 days per week, flexible based on your needs) from 2:30pm to 5:30pm (sometimes until 6:30pm) 46 weeks per year No work on statutory holidays Main responsibilities Attentive care, play, and support of our daughter who will soon be 1 year old (free play, outdoor time, routines, naps, developmental activities) Supporting self-feeding and solid food introduction (baby-led weaning), helping during mealtimes with pre-prepared meals No screen time (phone, tablet, television, etc.) while caring for the child Using cloth diapers and supporting natural infant hygiene practices Light household tasks including washing the child's clothes and diapers, dishes, sweeping, and tidying spaces used by the child Conditions Hourly rate of $23 Employee status (employment contract, T4/RL-1) 3-month probationary period Requirements Significant experience with children under 3 years old (verifiable references required) CPR and first aid certification for infants and children (or willingness to obtain it quickly) Openness and ideally experience with cloth diapers, natural infant hygiene practices, and baby-led weaning Commitment to a screen-free approach for young children Fluent French Responsible, patient, dynamic person who does not smoke Criminal background check required If you recognize yourself in these values and enjoy supporting young children with patience and kindness, we'd love to meet you!
