I ran a daycare from my home for 12 years, caring for babies as well as school-aged children during lunch hours and after school. I then spent 9 years working in school-based childcare services, where I provided one-on-one classroom support for children with special needs. I have also cared for my parents and brother-in-law during the end of their lives.
