Looking for a caring in-home childcare provider, Madeleine district (Cap-de-la-Madeleine) I'm a single mom with two young children and I'm looking for a trustworthy person to care for them daily in a warm, respectful environment that meets their needs. Monday to Friday, generally. This is an in-home childcare position. I have a 10½-month-old baby who needs care at home a few days a week, and a 24-month-old toddler who needs to be picked up from daycare around 3 p.m. and cared for until 4:30 p.m. Both kids are calm and considered easy to care for. We're looking for an adult who is gentle and caring, who embraces positive parenting approaches and understands children's emotional needs. The ideal candidate must have current CPR certification with AED training for children and ideally have experience with infants and toddlers. Your responsibilities would include: Complete childcare (meals, naps, play, outings as needed) Preparing meals for the children and light cleanup related to mealtimes Light tidying of play areas and spaces used with the children to keep the home functional for when I return My children are calm, gentle and cooperative. I place great importance on respecting their rhythm, showing kindness, communicating openly, and following a positive parenting approach. I'm willing to offer an hourly rate based on your experience, responsibilities and household tasks. We can discuss the details together.
