SOS-Nounou connects families with people who offer home services in Quebec and Ontario. Childcare, senior care, housekeeping, tutoring or pet sitting, you find help close to home.

The site also publishes a directory of daycares, built from the official lists of Quebec and Ontario.

Everything is free. No commission, no subscription. You contact people directly and agree on your own terms.

Our Story

SOS-Nounou launched in 2026 from a simple observation. Quebec families were spending too much time looking for a trusted babysitter in their neighbourhood. Facebook groups were overflowing with requests, and Canadian platforms knew nothing about life in Quebec.

The service first opened in Quebec. It is now expanding to Ontario.

The sos-nounou.com website was first created in France, but it was never active there. SOS-Nounou has no connection with French childcare services that use a similar name.

Who Runs SOS-Nounou

SOS-Nounou is published by Geoffrey Michel, an independent worker registered in Quebec under Quebec Enterprise Number (NEQ) 2275626382. He created the site and runs it from Quebec City.

Our Role and Its Limits

SOS-Nounou does not provide childcare and does not employ babysitters. The family and the person they hire agree directly on the terms and the pay.
