Looking for a babysitter in August. I have a 1-year-old daughter who is always smiling and easygoing, with a naturally cheerful, curious and playful personality. That said, she's a clingy baby and gets anxious when she's not being held or in close contact. I've been working on this with her for a while now, moving at her pace. She's making progress, so I'm looking for someone special—someone patient and committed to understanding her needs. We'll do a gradual transition into care. I'll be honest: I'm not entirely comfortable with childcare outside of a daycare centre, but life happens, and I need to work. So to put my mind at ease, I'm looking for someone with solid experience and references, plus first aid certification or equivalent. No screens, please. I need someone who can keep her entertained, take her outside, and be creative enough to make it all fun. Part-time during the week, fixed schedule. I'll have her meals already prepared. Estrie region: Stratford, Lac-Mégantic, Victoriaville. I have an 8-year-old Golden Retriever and a cat, but they don't need care. 😉
