About
Hi! I’m 26, originally from the Dolomites in Italy, and currently in Montreal for my research at CHUM. I’m the oldest sister and cousin in a big family with lots of younger kids (1–14), so I’ve always been around children and used to taking care of them and playing with them. From 2021, I worked as an English teacher in a middle school in Italy (kids 10–13). After that, I taught at an elementary school for all subjects with kids aged 7–8. In Austria, I also did adult education in math for people with an immigration background. On top of that, I’ve done a lot of summer jobs in youth care and summer school programs since I was younger. Working with kids has always been something I really enjoy. I like explaining things and helping them understand. If I wasn’t studying medicine, I would probably have become a teacher like my sister. I’m a pretty cheerful and easygoing person, so I think kids usually feel comfortable around me. I also love animals, especially dogs. A lot of people in my family and my boyfriend’s family have dogs, so I’m very used to them. My boyfriend and I also sometimes take care of my parents’ dog, so I know what it means to look after a dog and what they need. I come from the mountains in South Tyrol, I love nature, and I’m always up for new things and little adventures. I speak English, Italian, and German. I don’t speak French yet, but I’d actually love to learn a bit through babysitting. I’m also into sports, baking, playing guitar, traveling, and spending time with friends. I’d say I’m someone who’s easy to be around, calm but fun, and I really enjoy creating a good atmosphere for kids. I’d be happy to help a family where the kids (or dogs!) feel safe and comfortable with me. I usually get along very naturally with children and animals, and I really enjoy being part of their everyday life.

I'm currently a medical student, but in a little over a year I'm done. I was also a member of the voluntary rescue service in Italy and Austria for 1 to 2 years. I genuinely enjoy spending time with kids and would make sure they're safe, cared for, and having a good time while you're away.
