About
Hi! I'm 26 and originally from the Dolomites in Italy. I'm currently in Montreal doing research at CHUM. As the oldest sibling and cousin in a large family with many younger children (ages 1–14), I've always been surrounded by kids and have plenty of experience caring for and playing with them. Since 2021, I've worked as an English teacher at a middle school in Italy, teaching students aged 10–13. I then moved to an elementary school where I taught all subjects to 7–8 year olds. While in Austria, I also taught adult education in mathematics to immigrants. Throughout my life, I've taken on numerous summer positions in youth care and summer school programs. Working with children has always been a real passion of mine. I genuinely enjoy explaining concepts and helping kids learn. If I weren't pursuing medicine, I'd probably have followed my sister into teaching. I'd describe myself as upbeat and laid-back, and I think children naturally feel at ease around me. I'm also an animal lover, particularly when it comes to dogs. Many people in both my family and my boyfriend's family have dogs, so I'm very comfortable with them. My boyfriend and I regularly help care for my parents' dog, so I understand what it takes to look after one and meet their needs. Growing up in the mountains of South Tyrol, I have a deep love of nature and I'm always open to new experiences and small adventures. I'm fluent in English, Italian, and German. I don't speak French yet, but I'm genuinely interested in picking up some through babysitting. I'm also passionate about sports, baking, playing guitar, traveling, and spending time with friends. I'd say I'm approachable, calm yet fun, and I really value creating a positive atmosphere for the children I'm around. I'd love to work with a family where the kids (and dogs!) feel safe and happy with me. I connect naturally with children and animals, and I truly enjoy being part of their daily lives.

I'm currently studying medicine, and I'll be finished in just over a year. I've also spent 1 to 2 years volunteering with rescue services in Italy and Austria. I genuinely love working with children and am committed to keeping them safe, well-cared for, and having fun while you're away.
