I'm an optimistic, smiling, patient, creative, independent and resourceful person who genuinely enjoys working with people. I have a strong sense of responsibility and good judgment. My background is quite diverse. I'm a retired elementary music teacher. I've also worked as a mental health worker with experience in autism and intellectual disabilities in intermediate care settings. My CPR certification and Quebec childcare regulations training (Loi 90) are both current. I have worked in intermediate residential care facilities. I'm also the mother of four independent young adults, including a 27-year-old son with autism who lives independently. I'm a grandmother to two grandsons, ages 4 and 5. I'm bilingual in French and English and have access to a car. I'm available to start right away.
