Hi there! My name is Megan and I'm 19 years old. I have extensive experience working with children in various settings—babysitting, activity leading, and daycare centres. I've worked at day camps, overnight camps, and in daycare facilities with children of all ages, from babies between 9 and 18 months all the way through school-age kids. I'm a gentle, patient, attentive, responsible, and energetic person. I genuinely enjoy creating activities, playing with children, supporting them through their routines and developmental milestones, and making sure they feel happy, secure, and safe while having fun. I also have experience working with children who have behavioural challenges or learning difficulties, which has taught me to adapt to each child's unique needs and personality. What I love most about babysitting is building a real connection with the kids, creating wonderful memories together, and giving parents the peace of mind that comes with knowing their little ones are in caring, capable hands. I have several years of experience working with children in babysitting, activity coordination, and daycare settings. I started babysitting at around 11 years old after completing a babysitting course. I began by occasionally caring for the children of my parents' friends, which helped me develop a strong sense of responsibility and confidence with kids from an early age. I later worked as a day camp coordinator, where I supervised groups of children, planned and led various activities, ensured their safety, and made sure they had wonderful days in a fun environment. During that summer, I also learned how to work with children facing challenges and behavioral difficulties. I also worked at Camp Minogami, a vacation camp for boys aged 7 to 11. This experience gave me the opportunity to support young people over extended periods, manage group dynamics, activities, daily routines and unexpected situations. I was also able to take them on great outings to national parks. Most recently, I've been working full-time at a daycare centre starting in summer 2026, and I continue in this role today. I've had the chance to work with multiple age groups: babies aged 9 to 18 months, 2-year-olds, 3-year-olds, and 4-5-year-olds. I participated in daily routines, mealtimes, naps, diaper changes, activities and playtime, while ensuring the well-being, safety and individual needs of each child and the group. All of these experiences have made me very comfortable with children of different ages. I'm responsible, attentive, patient and energetic, and I love creating an environment where children have fun while feeling safe and secure.
